ABOUT JAMIE

Jamie Scangarella is a [Non-Union] Actor, Voice Over Artist, and Sketch Comedian. Born-and-raised in New Jersey, but a traveler at heart. She holds a B.A. in Theater from UC San Diego (yet never learned to surf) but soon found herself back in her hometown, located just outside Manhattan.

Most of her credits have been performed on stage-- whether it be from sketch comedy shows, improv sets, character showcases, or theatrical productions.  She has performed all over NYC both solo and with improv/sketch teams. Her schools of comedic training include The Second City (New York), Magnet Theater, and Upright Citizens Brigade.

Jamie is also an immersive actor with the Murder Mystery Company, traveling the tri-state area for shows and events. In September of 2024, Jamie self-produced her first sketch show, "Herstory Repeats Herself (No One Heard Her the First Time)" at the Magnet Theater.

Jamie is based out of New York City/New Jersey. She is represented by Ramona's Model & Talent, LLC.

When not performing or playing pickleball, Jamie can be found in her home-studio doing voiceovers. Her primary work is in commercial and animation, but she also offers services for narrations, e-learning, IVR, and audiobooks. Click on the logos to learn more.
